Jacqueline Byrnes - 1944 to 2004

Jacqueline, mother of Julia, died on February 17, 2002 after a short but tough fight with cancer. She taught agility classes right up to the moment she went into hospital, she was cancelling her classes for the week that very day. Two weeks later she died.

Her involvement with the challenging sport of agility and the realization of the special bond that can be built between dog and handler through this medium, had inspired her to share this excitement with others. She was very devoted to her students and their dogs.

Huggable Hunter Brown HIC 1992-2004

Hunter was a dog that wasn't for sale at the breeder's. The moment he met Jacqueline he had found his new person. After several days Jacqueline received a phone call and was told that she could have him. They had a lot of fun together.

Mahoney and Julia were very busy. At long last Julia had a dog that was a willing and even tempered companion. They travelled extensively in the Pacific Northwest trying out various sports. They succeeded in many trial fields and always had fun. Mahoney is very much missed.
